From the busy streets of Marrakech to the quiet villages of the Atlas Mountains, from green valleys to wide desert landscapes, every day brings a new feeling, a new color, and a new story. Your adventure starts in Marrakech, a city full of energy, smells of spices, colors, and history. You walk through old streets, discover palaces, markets, and the famous square where life never stops. Then you leave the city and go up to the High Atlas Mountains, where the air is fresh and life is slow. In Imlil Valley, you stay in a traditional place, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and small villages. You can walk, meet locals, and see how people live close to nature.
The road continues through mountain passes to reach Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most beautiful old villages in Morocco. Made of earth and clay, this place tells stories of caravans, traders, and movies filmed there. Watching the sunset from the hill is a special moment. From there, you move south to the long Draa Valley, full of palm trees, old kasbahs, and peaceful views. In Zagora, you enjoy your first camel ride and a night under the stars in a desert camp.
The desert experience becomes even richer as you visit Amezrou and Tamgrout, places full of history, craft, and spirituality. You meet local artisans, see old techniques of silver jewelry, visit a very old Quranic library, and walk through green pottery workshops. Later, you reach the golden dunes of Merzouga, where silence, stars, music, and warm hospitality make the night unforgettable.
In the desert, you also learn how to cook Moroccan food with local people, enjoy Gnawa music, and walk in an oasis. Then the journey takes you back toward the mountains and valleys. In Tinghir, Todra Gorges, Dades, and Rose Valley, you walk through fields, meet villagers, learn about nomad life, and enjoy amazing landscapes made by nature over thousands of years.
Before returning to Marrakech, you visit Ouarzazate, known for cinema studios and history, and then Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of the most beautiful natural places in Morocco. You walk down to the water, relax, maybe swim, and enjoy the sound of nature. The last days are calm, giving you time to rest, think about your journey, and enjoy Marrakech again before departure.

Once you arrive in Marrakech, our friendly team will be waiting to welcome you. We will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel or riad where you can relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short walk around the local area to get a first taste of the lively atmosphere of Marrakech. You will see local shops, smell the spices in the air, and hear the sounds of the city. In the evening, you can enjoy your first Moroccan dinner and get ready for the journey ahead.
Today is a full day to discover the magical city of Marrakech. After breakfast, we will start exploring the main historical and cultural spots. You will visit the famous Bahia Palace, the beautiful Koutoubia Mosque from outside, and the old Jewish quarter called Mellah. Then we will explore the busy streets of the medina and the colorful souks where artisans sell their handmade items, visit the famous Jemaa El Fna square, where you will see musicians, storytellers, and food stalls. It is a great way to feel the soul of the city before heading to the miuntains by the afternoonin a drive of one and half our you will enjoy another totally deferente atmospherein Imlil valley surrounded by high atlas mountains, in a traditional Moroccan environment. After breakfast a hike in the valley by river, the fields, and old villages is recommended, we still have option to do some baking class, that drive towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. The road takes us through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, where you will see stunning views of mountains and small Berber villages. We will stop along the way for photos and tea. Our last destination is at the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou, an old mud-brick ksar (village) that looks like a movie scene. Used for many famous movies as a set; Gladiator , Laurence of Arabia, the jewel of the Nile, Babel, a d many more international movies, ir is a great place to go for walk to enjoy a nice sunset over the hill from the watch tower after a wonderful exploring of the old mud village. After a nice breakfast, we continue through the beautiful landscapes of Dra Valley, This area is known for its vast palm tree groves, the natural rock formations and peaceful volcanic canyons. It is a historical valley full of old ruins of Kasbahs and villages scattered all the way through the Anti Atlas mountains to the vast Sahara Desert every corner, and every grain of sand memories centuries of history of the old time. All the way south we will enjoy spectacular photo stops, as well as visits and nice food. By the afternoon we will arrive to our accommodation in Zagora for a nice camel ride and dinner under stars in a luxury camp.
Today starting the marvelous artisans day we head to the first destination which will be an old Jewish neighborhood well known by jewelry making since ever, Amezrou a small village by the Dra palm grouve to visit a family that is still dedicating to the old technics of silver jewelry, we will have the oportunity to be with them for some time, to learn a bit of thier history and technic, and even have a cup of tea while visiting the old neighborhood. Right after we keep on road to visit the famous 14 century coranic school library and zawia of Tamegrout; nowadays well know by the green seramics, there we visit the old shrine and school, before walking through the alleyways taking us to the pottery place and ovens. Sahara Desert is still large and exotic to explore, after lunch, we drive through the amazing landscape in durection east throug the hilly rocky land totally desert from time to time crossing oasis and scaterd small mud villages, by sunset we will arrive to Merzouga desert, overnight in a deferente sand landscape again glamping. In our comfortable desert camp you will enjoy a warm dinner under the stars, listen to traditional Berber music around the fire, and sleep in a private tent in the silence of the Sahara.
You will wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, in a peaceful and unforgettable moment. After breakfast at the camp, we will drive meet a local cook who will guide you through a special desert cooking class. You will learn how to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes like tagine or couscous using fresh local ingredients. It is a hands-on and fun activity that shows you the flavors and secrets of Moroccan food. After lunch, we will relax while enjoying live Gnawa music played by local musicians. Then we will take a short walk to visit a nearby oasis with palm trees and small gardens. In the afternoon, we start driving west towards the High Atlas Mountains and reach the quiet town Tinghir. You will stay in a peaceful hotel with mountain views where you can relax for the evening.
Our day is quiet and resting, after breakfast we will drive nearby the valley to go on a guided hike though the locals fields, to explore closely the locals traditional life style feel the nature much closer than ever, and get to locals life and hearts share memories and knowledge, and learn traditional abilities, here in the valley we can visit a rag co-operative have a cup of tea and learn a bit from thier skiles, before we start the drive in the mountains of high Atlas where we pause to learn about the nomad style and mode of life; tent, furniture, food, supply, and all possible about them. After lunch keep driving in a scenic landscape by Dades Valley until we get to the hotel after a full rich day, overnight in Rose valley.
Like everyday and after a nice breakfast, our day starts again with a drive to Ouarzazate to visit the studios of cenima, movie sets and props used to shoot many famous movies, after a nice visit we keep on road again to cross the high atlas mountains in direction of a spectacular place know by its waterfalls called Ouzoud a smal valley but peculiar for a nice hike down to the lake and maybe swimming before we get to the hotel. Overnight in Ouzoud .
A relaxing day after many days chasing time and enjoy moments, today we have the choice to enjoy some more time in our accommodation before we start the drive towards Marrakech, or drive after breakfast like everyday to save more time to enjoy mire Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech
free time and transfer to the airport, end of our 10 days from Marrakech and back to Marrakech
